Eau Claire is a city that is full of adventure and possibilities. From its coffee culture, to its original artistry and festivals, to its own flavor of unique midwestern charm, Eau Claire has become a place with a culture all its own. College students and young professionals are having an influential impact on our city. The voices of young adults are significant and necessary as we look to the future.
Young adults are also playing significant roles in the spiritual community of the Chippewa Valley. We believe an even greater impact could be made if young adult believers were better connected. While there are many churches here, there seems to be a level of separation between them. We desire to create a network of young adults that gather in community to increase the effectiveness of each church represented.
We all have of need, a need for community, connection and relationship with others, all of which have been instilled in us by God. Scripture tells “Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it. For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.” As believers, we are all part of this one body. God’s design is for it to be integrated and not divided.
Let’s Unify is a growing community that meets every few months with the sole purpose of bringing young adults together to stimulate a more integrated body of Christ. And also to create a larger community base of young believers, to encourage and equip them to better sve and glorify God, and build more connected relationships between their various church bodies.
